Fees

There’s a 1.4% fee over the total amount you are depositing with Flutterwave. The rest is converted to USD and the currency conversion rate used is the local market rate for the day. Of this fee, 1.2% goes to our payments partner (Flutterwave) and 0.2% to us.

It is possible to transfer money with debit/credit cards. Visa, Mastercard, Verve and more are all supported. If you choose Card as a payment, the same 1.4% fee over the total amount you are depositing will apply.

You can also safely transfer money directly from your bank account. This option is available only for users in the US, South Africa, and Nigeria. The same 1.4% fee over the total amount you are depositing will apply.

Limits and minimums

You can start investing with as little as US$1! Regarding limits, every country is unique and there might be limits imposed by regulation. We recommend you become educated on your country’s regulations about sending money overseas before depositing considerable amounts.

 

Time to reach your account

The estimated time to the money reach your account is T+5, where T is the transaction date.

 

Currency exchange

If you are depositing via Flutterwave, the conversion rate used is the local market rate for the day. 

 

Problems with your deposit

There may be problems with your deposit if you provide erroneous information when transferring, such as:

  1.  Wrong bank account number
  2.  Wrong card number
  3.  Wrong PIN

Also, deposits must be made from an individual account registered to your name and national ID number. If your deposit is not made from an individual bank verification number account in your name, your money will be transferred back to your bank account with potential bank fees charged. For example, a deposit made from a joint bank account in the names of you and your partner will be returned.
